The best part would be having holidays off, four day work weeks, and getting paid every Friday. Job is not for the weak you drop off on average 700 plus cases of beverages a day with about stops. Day starts at 5a and expect hour days. Good luck stocking shelves and coolers with Coca Cola products. Speedway’s, Dollar General, and several other stores.
Advancement opportunities only existed if you where buddies with someone in management. Written up for taking time off when my mother passed. The money isn’t the best but you work so many hours that you will earn a decent pay check. The only perk at the warehouse that I worked out of was the fact that management didn’t enforce the attendance policies.
Ask for management help/guidance and not once received any. Finally gave up and did just enough and then I never stopped hearing from them. Maybe uplift the good workers and show gratitude. In Communication from Stonehill College, and a Master of Liberal Studies in Creative Writing from the University of Denver. They have to give one day off, or they’d have you working it too! The Managers think they can talk to you any kind of way. They threatened my position on multiple different occasions. I was told i would get 3 weeks of vacation but had to wait about 8 months just to get any time off at all! When hired i was told that i couldn’t work the schedule prompted which was 4 days a week, than they turned around and came up with a “Mandatory 6 day” rule after they hired me.

Working with Coca-Cola has been one of the greatest achievement in my life in the field of work that also elevated the other spheres of my life.
If you want to work here expect to work long hard hours and working for them remember everyday is a 12 hr day. Supervisors say they have your back but don’t whatsoever.
Everyone got along, never seen any real conflict among these employees. Hardest part of the job I would say is coming back to my route after my days off I would have more product than I needed and my back stock would be messy, leaving me to re-organize it.
The pay is great but the amount of work you do you should get compensated more. Not worth the long term damage that will be done to your car. Several institutional investors and hedge funds have recently made changes to their positions in WMT. BlackRock Inc. raised its position in Walmart by 2.5% in the third quarter. BlackRock Inc. now owns 92,352,100 shares of the retailer’s stock worth $12,872,035,000 after purchasing an additional 2,290,247 shares in the last quarter.
I came it as a Merchandiser and worked just 4 months. I didn’t appreciate it that you had to use your own vehicle to get to store to store, when they had plenty of their own little trucks merchandisers could have been using. They didn’t want to give you a gas card, but made you hold on to your receipts until tax time, but paid you for mileage which wasn’t enough cause that money went towards gas anyways. The job took enormous amount of my family time away and that’s time you can;t get back.
You ll be a merchandiser indefinitely unless you want to be a sales specialist and have your butt thrown on a truck. The hardest part of working this position was only the lower pay rate and smaller benefits. My favorite things about working for Coca Cola was the responsibility of working on your own while operating company vehicle. Getting to know the individuals that you work with and the people working at the stores you serviced. The merchandiser job is easy but fast pace and the hard part of the job is on the back stack challenge especially in Kroger’s how their back room is . The new merchandisers they hire are getting a good training and when they go on their own some of them quit within days.

Expect to wait anywhere from 1-9 hours for a truck to deliver to your store before you can start putting the product up. Specifically in summer were orders are really high. Management was useless and hostile. If you are in a union position, you are treated as a “union employee” NOT a Coca-Cola employee . Oh, and as a bonus, the teamsters union I was a part of was ALSO completely useless, so expect the lowest pay of the top 3 beverage companies in the area.
Jumping from store to store stocking coke products on shelves and refrigerators when where done stocking then the shift is over. I learned how patient ,perfect and fast at the same time.
Finally, Nuveen Asset Management LLC increased its holdings in shares of Walmart by 8.0% during the fourth quarter. Nuveen Asset Management LLC now owns 10,881,290 shares of the retailer’s stock worth $1,574,414,000 after buying an additional 801,954 shares in the last quarter. 30.79% of the stock is owned by institutional investors and hedge funds. I had a great lead who accommodated my semester schedules. The down side of this job is the labour aspect. You will visit 4-6 stores a day and have to merchandise their shelves.
I drive my own car and simply drive to the store that need to be merchandised. The product is delivered by the big red coke trucks you see everywhere. There is usually 3-6 pallets of product I have to bust my ass to work to the shelf in about 2 hours. Thats the average time you need to take coca-cola merchandiser reviews per store to get finished in a timely manner. You get about 3 loads per week so obviously load days are hell and non load days are heaven. It’s a more physical job than even a construction worker. They told me this in training but I didn’t believe them until after my first day on the job.
Co- workers was helpfull they giving me good tips.being on time to each store because you have alot going on. A typical day of working for Coca-Cola consisted of customer relations between my self and the accounts I was in charge of. I would ensure prompt delivery of Coca-Cola products to my stores, while learning each day how to become a better sale-rep and merchandiser. The hardest part of the job was the physical aspects of moving pallets of merchandise around different stores to build sales displays.
Occasional help from other employees. Poor work/life balance as you are forced into mandatory overtime daily due to late deliveries. Due to staffing shortages, expect to work 13 days on with one day off. Back breaking labor, many stores have to be hit in a single day. One of those jobs where no matter what it has to get done that day for even it it takes you 13 hours to do so.
Maintains merchandising standards while rotating products to assure freshness. Maintains clean and organized products in the back-room, including condensing and rotating product. Ensures high level of friendly and professional customer service with customers and store managers. Want to see which stocks are moving?
1 person found this review helpful. Clocked in, make sure truck and load were ready to go. Delivery to 8-20 accounts, checking in and filling products and most accounts. Management leaves you alone most of the time if you do not have any issues. Just terrible management and pay/work done.
By the time you get home it was time to go to bed and get back up again and start anew. We had https://business-accounting.net/ to work 6 days a week at the time I was there and the only day off for me was Wednesday.
